TOURISM

Below is a selection of the most beautiful places and activities to explore during your stay:

Nature and Bike Routes

The Waasland region is perfect for cyclists and nature lovers. We offer electric bikes so you can explore the most beautiful cycling routes, such as the well-marked Cycle Networks Waasland and the Scheldeknoop. These routes lead you through quiet paths, past picturesque villages and nature reserves.

Fruit Route: Explore the Fruit Route, a signposted route of about 9 kilometers that takes you past several apple and pear orchards. The route can be followed throughout the year and offers its own charm and color palette with each season. During the blossom period (late April – early May) the route is at its best. Then you cycle or walk among the blossom wealth and the intense fragrance of the blossoms. Along the way you will encounter QR codes that tell you the story of “It Blossoms” in 10 parts, adding an extra dimension to your adventure.

In addition to the Fruit Route, you can also explore the Stropersbos, an idyllic natural area perfect for a quiet walk or bike ride. The Stropersbos has a rich history and offers a beautiful, unspoiled landscape. It is the ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the silence and nature.
